The temporal things of life will eventually fail. By fixing our eyes on Christ, we’re able to be renewed in the unseen things that are eternal. He set the example, by extending grace, choosing a path of vulnerability, and seeking the highest interest of others. That’s what is pleasing to God: not power plays, but shepherding hearts.
