James 3:13-18
After Solomon’s reign in Israel, the nation was divided between two kings: Jeroboam in Israel in the North, and Rehoboam in Judah in the South. We study 1 Kings 12-14, and learn of their decisions and the consequences. We learn from their bad examples of what can happen when we fail to seek and follow God’s direction. May we seek God’s wisdom through His Word and wise counsel.
