Romans 5:1-5
As we begin the Advent series, “Good News in Troubled Times”, we look at instances of hope in scripture. We see in Genesis that, despite man’s exile from the Garden, God was still accessible. Later, Jesus brought the hope of divine justice. Because justice was poured out on Jesus, we have grace and forgiveness. And finally, because of the presence of the Holy Spirit, we have hope and the assurance that God will make everything right.
