1 Kings 19:4-12
Jesus found it necessary to seek solitude regularly, to fellowship with the Father and gain strength. He did it when he needed preparation, wisdom, and rest, or when he was in mourning. He also sought solitude when he was caught in busyness, or before important events. Let Jesus be our example. As Elijah of old, listen for God’s quiet voice.
